Lee Lukehart
SavvyData founder Lee Lukehart is also president of the parent company, Lifescope Inc., established 1995. Lee began creating FileMaker Pro solutions for clients in 1989, and has been a certified developer for every product release since FileMaker Pro 7. He began teaching FileMaker classes in 2004, and has been a FileMaker Authorized Trainer for the last 4 iterations of the official curriculum. In 2005 Lee joined forces with Soliant Consulting, serving as project manager and technical lead, and for 2 years as director of training. Lee founded SavvyData in 2009 to focus on creating data visualization tools and training for the FileMaker community.
An enthusiastic FileMaker advocate, his highly interactive instructional style makes learning new technologies downright delightful. He is known for his patience and caring attitude in the classroom. Always the technologist mentor, in recent years he has presented FileMaker how-tos at Macworld Expo and spoken at the last 4 FileMaker Developer Conferences. He also had a stint writing the regular Q&A column in Advisor Basics for FileMaker magazine, an apt use of his Technical Communications degree. Lee serves SavvyData in the various roles of information architect, project manager, business analyst, and chief data visualist. It has been said that on a good day he can make a trendline with only 1 data point. In his spare time he practices photography and flying small planes, occasionally at the same time.
